python-sclapp software package provides framework for Python command-line applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-sclapp
python-sclapp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-sclapp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-sclapp *
You will get with python-sclapp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
